Carrie & Ed bring their extensive leadership expertise, mentorship & skill-based coaching into the digital space with NLU. Their work provides foundational education for emerging and newly minted leaders, as well as elevated coursework and mentorship for leaders experiencing skill challenges. Their goal is to create the next generation of great leaders: for our businesses, our workforce and our communities.

With over 40 years of combined experience, Carrie & Ed have run multi-million dollar businesses, directing teams both large & small, for some of the largest companies in the B2C brick & mortar retail space.

They have spent decades teaching the soft skills required to be successful within the retail industry, and those skills translate (and are extremely valuable assets) to leadership success in all industries: from tech, to hospitality, to the medical industry to many, many more. Their empathetic, behavior-based coaching style has become more and more sought after, as both employee and customer EXPERIENCE are now at the forefront of organizations’ growth strategies.

Carrie is an expert in high intensity, director level, large-scale team leadership with over 20 years experience in the retail industry. She specializes in coaching and development, customer experience and employee engagement.

Edward Walker- Briscese

Ed brings 22+ years of experience across both front and back of house team leadership in the retail industry and leading large-scale teams at the district level. He specializes in operations, planning and customer conversion.
